 Day 1: Depart USA to India. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.
Day 2: Arrive to Delhi and transfer to your hotel: The Connaught.
Day 3: Enjoy a tour of Old Delhi in the morning. Visit the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi; India's largest mosque, Jama Masjid, then view the Red Fort. This afternoon, drive to Mandawa, famous for its painted mansions, locally called as Havelis. Overnight at hotel in Mandawa: Castle Mandawa. (B)
Day 4: This morning, drive to Bikaner, another prominent royal city in Radjasthan. See city walls dating back to 1486 AD. Overnight at the heritage hotel in Bikaner: Laxmi Niwas Palace. (B) Day 5: Take a morning tour in Bikaner. You will visit Lalgarh Palace, Junagarh Fort and camel breeding farm. Your next destination is Jaisalmer, gateway to Great Indian Thar deserts. On arrival check in at your heritage hotel: Fort Rajwada. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)
Day 6: Your city tour includes visiting such landmarks as Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Ji Ki Haveli and Patwon Ki Haveli. In afternoon you will have an excursion to Sam to view sand dunes and camels in the desert. (B)
Day 7: Morning at leisure and then drive to Jodhpur. The second largest city in Rajasthan, Jodhpur stands at the edge of the Thar Desert. On arrival check in at hotel: Ajit Bhawan Palace. (B)
Day 8: Proceed for a city tour, which includes Mehrangarh Fort. In this place you would see different miniature paintings and a cradle room. After this you would also visit Jaswant Thada Memorial - a richly carved white marble cenotaph, which preserves the genealogy of the rulers of Jodhpur along with their life-size portraits. Afternoon drive from Jodhpur to Mount Abu. On arrival in Mount Abu check in to your heritage hotel: The Jaipur House. (B)
Day 9: There will be a morning sightseeing tour to the hill station. You will visit the Dilwara Jain Temple. This temple is so beautifully carved and decorated that is difficult to imagine that human hands have sculpted it. You also will visit the Serene Nakki Lake and other picturesque places and viewpoints. Evening is free to relax. (B)
Day 10: After breakfast drive to Udaipur. On arrival check in to your historic heritage hotel: Shiv Niwas Palace. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)
Day 11: Proceed for a city tour visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari followed by a boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. (B)
Day 12: Drive to Pushkar, an ancient town which has witnessed the making of history since the period the epic Ramayana is set in. Accounts of this city can be found in the 4th century writings of the Chinese traveler Fa-Hien and also in the scripts written during the era of Muslim invasions. The city is considered by Hindus to be one of the most sacred places in India and has, perhaps, the only existing temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, the Creator of the Hindu trinity. Check in at the heritage hotel: Jagat Palace. (B)
Day 13: After breakfast visit Pushkar Lake. Mythology says that this ancient lake was formed when a lotus flower fell into the valley from the hands of Brahma. Pushkar has as many as 400 temples and 52 bathing ghats surrounding the lake. The waters of these ghats are said to have special curative powers. Visit ghats and temples. (B)
Day 14: Drive to Jaipur, the principal city of Rajasthan. It is also known as Pink City, as all buildings have a pink tint to them. It is a medieval city, with stately palaces, colorful bazaars and a fort brooding over the city. Arrive to Jaipur and check in to your hotel: KK Royal Days. (B)
Day 15: Enjoy the excursion to Amber Fort where you will be able to ride on the back of an elephant to the top of the hill. In the afternoon, tour Jaipur including visits to the observatory of Maharaja Jaisingh and the museum at the Maharaja City Palace. Drive past Hawa Mahal and the Palace of Winds, the architectural keynote of the city. (B)
Day 16: Drive from Jaipur to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Explore the perfectly preserved buildings, including Panch Mahal Palace and Jama Masjid. Arrive to Agra and check in to your hotel: Holiday Inn Agra. You will have an afternoon visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, built by Emperor Shah Jehan as a mausoleum for his beloved Queen Mumtaj Mahal. Continue to Agra Fort, started by Emperor Akbar and completed by three different Mughal Emperors. Stroll the palaces, mosques and Halls of Public and Private Audiences. (B)
Day 17: Drive to Delhi and transfer to your hotel: Ashok Country Resort. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)
Day 18: Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
